Day One... They've Arrived!!! About 3am on Monday, April 15th (income tax day) Tuesday gave birth to a pile of little pinkies. I didn't bother them until about 12 hours later, I wanted to give Tuesday a little time to relax with her little ones. When I checked on them later that afternoon, I tried to get a head count. Looks like 8 or 9, can't be too sure. Tuesday wasn't really thrilled with my handling the babies. She started rattling her tail after I'd poked around with them and taken one out to photograph, so I quickly put the nest back as best as I could and left them alone. She promplty went about fixing the next and cleaning all that horrible "people stink" off the babies that I had touched. Hopefully tomorrow she won't be so worried.

Day Two... Yep, definatly 9 little ones! I took out 5 of the babies today to photgraph and make a good count. Not much of a visible difference from day one and two though, the photos look the same. Tuesday still wasn't very happy with my handling the babies. My plan is to touch them a few times a day for just a minute or two each time during these first few days. I am just trying to show her that I'm not going to hurt her babies, and at the same time, starting to get the babies used to being touched, and used to my scent.
